• Important information

  Car hire
  

  • One day car hire times are 8.30/9am to 5pm.
  • Car hire shops are located on Magnetic Island.
  • Booking in advance are recommended- availability can be limited.

  Ferry transfer
  

  • A return ferry transfer with SeaLink is included.
  • No bookings required, first in best dressed. We recommend to arrive 20/ 30minutes prior ferry departure.
  • View current timetables and departure locations.

  Drink
  

  • 1 x drink per person is included.
  • Can be redeemed only on-board SeaLink vessels from selected beers, wines or soft drinks.
• Itinerary

  8.15am	Make your way to SeaLink ferry terminal Check-in at the Travel Desk to collect your ferry tickets & drink vouchers.
  8.30am	Get ready for boarding.
  8.45am	SeaLink ferry departs. (recommended time)*
  9.05am	Travel time to Magnetic Island is approx. 20 minutes. Once arrived at Nelly Bay Terminal, head to the car hire to pick up your vehicle. The day is yours to explore Magnetic Island!
  4.30/5.00pm	Return your car hire.
  5.10pm	SeaLink ferry departs from Nelly Bay. (recommended time)*

  • ferry departure and return times listed above are recommended to help you make the most of your day on Magnetic Island. You are welcome to choose any other SeaLink ferry departure time.

  • Vehicles may only be driven on sealed roads between Horseshoe Bay and Picnic Bay. Vehicle access is not available beyond The Forts car park to Arthur, Florence, Radical Bays or out to West Point.
  • All drivers must be a minimum of 21 years old and have held a current Full License for a minimum of 2 years.
  • International Driving Licenses are accepted with most hire companies however Queensland Government requires international drivers to always have the original valid international driver’s license on them at all times whilst driving.
  • Fuel levies and a security bond in the form of a credit card (digital card not accepted) may be required at time of collecting the vehicle.
