Ferry timetables for Kangaroo Island

Ferry maintenance occurs every year over winter when our vessels are periodically removed from service for a short duration to undertake critical maintenance work and checks. During this time, ferry and coach service times will alter slightly.

This year, the maintenance works will be carried out on selected weekends to minimise the disruption to services and project works underway to transition to the new ferry service.

The below timetable will be implemented for the following maintenance days:

May:

• Saturday 16 May and Sunday 17 May - Sealion 2000 will be removed from service
• Saturday 23 May and Sunday 24 May - Spirit of Kangaroo Island will be removed from service
• Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31 May - Spirit of Kangaroo Island will be removed from service

SeaLink Coach Connection Timetable (Maintenance period)

The SeaLink Coach Connection between Adelaide and Cape Jervis is continuing to operate as per the following timetable. The Public Coach Service between Adelaide and Cape Jervis is now operated by LinkSA. For information pertaining to the Public Coach Service - please see section titled 'Public Coach Service' in the drop down list below.

SeaLink Coach Connection

The Kangaroo Island Public Coach service, previously operated by SeaLink between Adelaide and Cape Jervis, has changed provider. The Department for Infrastructure and Transport has contracted LinkSA to deliver this service from 1 October 2023. The Kangaroo Island Shuttle Service, previously operated by SeaLink between Penneshaw and Kingscote, has undergone a change in provider. The Department for Infrastructure and Transport has contracted Peninsula Coaches to deliver this service from 1 October 2023. For those who have existing travel bookings after 1 October 2023, SeaLink is working closely with Peninsula Coaches to ensure a smooth transition and all existing reservations will be valid.
