• Full description

  Surf the dunes like a pro on a sandboard or just sit down, hang on and slide on toboggans. A must do family experience!

  Little Sahara is a spectacular sand dune system covering over two square kilometres with dunes of various sizes and steepness to suit all adventurers! Our experienced team will give you a few hints and tips for keeping you safe and getting the most out of your time out on the dunes. Our quality boards are handcrafted in South Australia and are guaranteed to slide in any weather conditions.

  We recommend you also hire a helmet, bring water and wear sun protection including sunglasses.

  Helmet		$10 per helmet

  Sandboards cannot be used to sit on (stand up only). Toboggans are a more suitable choice for children or the less experienced sandboarder. No minimum age, use at your own supervision.

• Departure dates and times

  Little Sahara Adventure Centre is located at 3733 South Coast Road, Vivonne Bay.

  Open daily 9:00am to 5:00pm (Oct - April), 9:00am to 4:00pm (May to Sept). Closed Christmas Day. Outside of these hours the site is gated and locked.

• Important information
  • Prices valid from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, for other dates please enquire.
  • All prices are per Sandboard or Toboggan.
  • Everyone aged 18 and over who participates in sandboarding, tobogganing or sightseeing is required to fill out a risk release form upon arrival to the Little Sahara Adventure Centre office.
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended.
