Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action is located at Vivonne Bay and has a great range of activities and tours including quad biking, kayaking, and more. Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action is a quality accredited and an Advanced Ecotourism certified business, meaning the safety and well-being of you and the environment are our priority.

All tours are with experienced and professional guides who give an informative commentary on wildlife and the local area's history. There are lots of photo opportunities and possible sightings of Kangaroo Island’s wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, echidnas, wallabies, goannas, birdlife, and more.

First-time riders are welcome, and no experience is necessary; all you’ll need is fully enclosed shoes and long pants. If it’s raining, we can provide wet weather gear and lots of mud and puddle action. We also welcome experienced riders who can test out their abilities on some of our more challenging and technical trails.

Don't want to ride? The guide can take you upfront on their lead quad bike, giving you the best seat on tour.

    Edge of the Earth Quad Adventure - 170mins

    Be among just a handful of adventurers each year that gets to discover one of Australia's Top 100 Surf Beaches located on the edge of the Earth. Experience is not necessary, but an adventurous spirit is.

    The Edge Of The Earth Adventure is one action-packed tour. Depart on a quad adventure of a lifetime down to a remote beach in the middle of nowhere! Take a walk on a beach with no footprints after high tides or big storms, keep an eye out for hovering Sea Eagles and Ospreys and check out amazing views of the wild Southern Ocean. During Winter there is also the chance to spot migrating Southern Right Whales from the top of the cliffs. With over two hours on the bike, you’ll get to ride on a variety of terrains including winding tracks through native bush, open grassland, and rocky trails. Enjoy a free Private Tour Upgrade for all families with riders 15 years and under.

    Age: 10+ years as a rider or passenger. Children under 18 need to be accompanied by a paying adult.

    Groups with riders 15 years old and under will be given a FREE upgrade to a Private Tour valued at $397!

    All-Terrain Quad Adventure - 110mins

    An awesome new tour for those who want to experience more terrain and more action! The All-Terrain Adventure is designed to give you more time on the quad bike to experience the wide variety of terrain we have on offer. We'll guide you through sand and gravel tracks, open grassland, winding tracks through native bush, and more technical rocky tracks to test your ability.

    Age: 6+ years to ride, 4+ years as a passenger. Children under 18 need to be accompanied by a paying adult.

    Groups with riders 10 years old and under will be given a FREE upgrade to a Private Tour VALUED AT $397!

    Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action is located at 188 Jetty Road, Vivonne Bay.

    Open daily from 9:00 am. Closed Christmas Day. Bookings essential.

    • Prices valid from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2024, for other dates please enquire.
    • Please call SeaLink on 13 13 01 to advise us of your preferred quad bike tour time, your contact phone number and email to pass onto KI Outdoor Action. Also to advise the age of all riders under 18 years as child ages must be recorded at time of booking.
    • An allotment of 6 riders can be booked online at one time. Children must meet minimum ages as stated above.
    • Children under 18 years must be accompanied by a paying parent rider or passenger on the same tour.
    • Tours operate in most weather conditions however during extreme conditions that may affect the safety of customers and staff we reserve the right to reschedule. This may only require a slight delay and we will try our best of find a mutually suitable time as soon as possible.
    • Please wear enclosed shoes, warm clothes, and long pants.
