Vivonne Bay Lodge, on Knofel Drive in Vivonne Bay, is located on 206 hectares of bushland, with 1 kilometre of beach frontage and 10 kilometres of sign posted walking and biking trails. Vivonne Bay is situated on the South Coast of Kangaroo Island, and is centrally located to many of Kangaroo Island’s top attractions and activities. Vivonne Bay Lodge is a fantastic choice for your Kangaroo Island accommodation.
There's abundant wildlife and native vegetation throughout the property, with recreational and barbecue facilities. Private rooms cater for up to four people with shared bathroom facilities and Wi-Fi (additional cost). Adventure tickets are complimentary when staying 2 or more nights (also available for purchase) that include use of bikes, kayaks and sandboards.

Vivonne Bay Lodge comprises comfortable, modern dormitory, twin and four-share rooms with 34 beds all together. All rooms share modern communal bathroom facilities. Rooms available are;
- 4 family private rooms - either king and a bunk or 2 singles and a bunk (Bed Linen & Bath Towels included)
- 1 double private room - either King or 2 singles (Bed Linen & Bath Towels included)
Vivonne Bay Lodge accommodates a regular adventure touring program in two dorms. Whilst the bedrooms are separate, you may be sharing communal areas including the kitchen/lounge and outdoor deck area.

Eat & Drink
Vivonne Bay Lodge is relatively isolated from supermarkets, although the Vivonne Bay General Store is within walking distance for snacks and drinks and they do a good burger!
Breakfast is available at Vivonne Bay Lodge from 6.30am - 9am. For lunch and dinner we can offer BBQ and salad packs for purchase to cook on one of our BBQs. From $15 per person these delicious fresh packs include an assortment of BBQ meats and salads.
Alcohol, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks can be purchased on site from the bar situated on the deck area.
Vivonne Bay Lodge is the perfect location for a range of activities and the perfect base to explore Kangaroo Island. Vivonne Bay is a 6km, curved, sandy beach which is superb for picnics, beachcombing, swimming, surfing and fishing. Safe swimming areas can be found around the Harriet River mouth to the jetty or the sandy-bottomed Harriet River. Fantastic fishing spots at Vivonne Bay include the jetty, beach, from a boat or the Harriet River mouth.
There are several walking tracks and trails throughout the property, including two that take you directly to the beach front. Vivonne Bay Lodge also provides bikes for guests to use around the various tracks on the property and also kayaks for use on the nearby Harriet River and sandboards to take to the slopes of Little Sahara sand dunes.

Vivonne Bay Lodge is the perfect place to host a function, event or even team-building weekend.
Our bistro is licenced to hold up to 165 people and the outdoor decking area 100 people. We can provide a suitable setting to suit the style of your function whether it is cocktail, sit down lunch or a wedding or special event.
