Here you will find standard visitor fares for the SeaLink Kangaroo Island Ferry Service. Passengers and vehicles up to 5.9m are bookable online. For bookings with vehicles greater than 5.9m, or car and trailer/caravan combinations greater than 9.9 m, please call our team on 13 13 01. SeaLink’s ferries run daily (excluding Christmas Day) between Cape Jervis and Kangaroo Island.

Vehicles, campervans, motorhomes, trailers, boats, caravans and camper trailers >5.9m in length and >2.3m in height cannot be booked online.
To book a car towing a trailer online, the combined length must not exceed 9.9m and width cannot exceed 2m.
Measurements must include any attachments such as bull-bars, bike racks, roof-racks and other fittings. Delays to travel may occur if incorrect dimensions are provided, and additional charges will apply.
If your vehicle is a freight unit or travelling for Trade, Industrial, Primary Produce or Commercial purposes and is >5.5m in length and/or is >2.9m wide, please call our TIPC Department on (08) 8551 7234.
You will need to inform SeaLink at the time of booking if you intend to travel in an Electric or Hybrid vehicle (EV). Delays to travel may occur if you have not informed us in advance.

On-island Penneshaw to Kingscote Connection

The Kangaroo Island shuttle service operated by SeaLink in the past between Penneshaw and Kingscote has undergone a change in provider. The Department for Infrastructure and Transport has contracted Peninsula Coaches to deliver this service from 1 October 2023. For those who have existing travel bookings after 1 October 2023, SeaLink is working closely with Peninsula Coaches to ensure a smooth transition and all existing reservations will be valid. Adelaide to Cape Jervis Connection

Link SA operates a public bus service from and to Adelaide and Cape Jervis - Route 1259. For those who wish to travel to the terminal via this method can refer to the Link SA website for more information or to make online bookings.
