Residents and landowners

Residents and landowners can pre-purchase their ferry tickets online.

These pre-purchased tickets are not holding space on a ferry for a specific date or time and can be used on any departure within 365 days from the date of purchase. The ticket will be for return travel commencing from Kettering.

You may also purchase a 10 Trip Return ticket that can be pre-purchased online and used on any departure within 365 days from the date of purchase.

Please complete this form to renew/register your details with SeaLink Bruny Island if you are a Bruny Island Landowner not living permanently on Bruny Island.

Your application will require the following document(s) to be provided to SeaLink Bruny Island to verify your Landowner status to receive subsidised rates:

• Current Kingborough Council Rates Notice, and
• Current Drivers Licence, and
• Vehicle Registration Documents

• Vehicle Registration Documents for a maximum of three (3) vehicles per Bruny Island property

Please complete this form to renew/register your details with SeaLink Bruny Island if you are a Bruny Island Resident (Rental) living in a rented home.

Your application will require the following document(s) to be provided to SeaLink Bruny Island to verify your Resident status to receive subsidised rates:

• Certified Lease Agreement - signed by all parties and including start and end dates clearly shown on lease, and
• Current Drivers Licence with your Bruny Island Address, and
• Electoral Roll paperwork, and
• Vehicle Registration papers for a maximum of two (2) vehicles per Bruny Island property.

The SeaLink service will ultimately increase ferry frequency and reduce time spent on water. The service will also have improved customer service at Gateway terminals and on-board vessels with the introduction of a passenger lounge.

Permanent residents and temporary residents (for example residential tenants with a fixed term tenancy agreement), and landowners will all be eligible for the resident / landowner fare. Eligibility for resident and landowner fares is specified in the contract and is intended to match the current arrangements.

A booking is generally attached to the vehicle, however verification of resident / landowner status will be done by the individual.

Residents will be required to submit a form with a copy of the following documents:

• driver’s licence, and
• vehicle registration document, and
• a utility bill and rental agreement, or
• a Council Rates Notice.

Residents may register an unlimited number of vehicles.

Landowners (who do not reside on Bruny Island) will be required to submit an application form with a copy of the following documents:

• driver’s licence, and
• vehicle registration document, and
• a council rates notice.

Landowners may register up to 3 vehicles.
