SeaLink Bruny Island is proud to connect people, support local livelihoods and contribute to the long-term strength and sustainability of the Bruny Island community. As an essential ferry service, we recognise that our success is closely connected to the wellbeing of the community we serve.
The SeaLink Bruny Island Community Grants Program has been established to support local initiatives that strengthen community wellbeing, foster social connection and protect the unique environmental and cultural values that make Bruny Island such a special place.
Through cash grants and in-kind ferry travel, we partner with community groups, organisations and individuals delivering projects that create lasting benefits for the island and its residents. We believe local ideas and grassroots initiatives play an important role in building a vibrant, resilient, and inclusive community, and we're proud to support the people who make Bruny Island thrive.
Applications are assessed through a fair and transparent process by an internal review panel to ensure funding is directed to initiatives that deliver meaningful outcomes for the Bruny Island community and align with the objectives of the Community Grants Program.
