  • Essentials include sunscreen, a hat, swimwear, a refillable water bottle, comfortable shoes (for biking or walking), and a camera for those iconic quokka selfies.

  • Yes, there are. SeaLink runs ferry services on Christmas Day from Fremantle and Perth. To avoid missing out, book in advance.

  • To avoid crowds, take advantage of SeaLinks' 7 am ferry service and be one of the first on the island for the day, stay overnight and experience the stillness when visitors leave the island or hire a bike and ride to a more secluded beach or bay near West End.
