  • Yes, SeaLink will manually adjust all existing eligible bookings from 4 August 2025. You do not need to contact us for this to happen. If your booking is for a registered SMBI resident and a qualifying vehicle, the subsidy will be applied, and the difference will be credited to your account.

  • Please call us on 07 3488 5300 to use your credit. Credit is not automatically applied to future bookings, so please ensure you tell our staff if you have credit and wish to use it.

  • SMBI residents with an approved SeaLink resident profile are eligible. The subsidy does not apply to ratepayers or commercial/business accounts.

  • This subsidy is targeted at reducing mainland parking issues. Inter-island travel is therefore not part of the government-funded program.

  • SeaLink updates fares annually. The last fare update was in April 2025, and the next is scheduled in 2026.
