After more than 12 months in operation, SeaLink Whitsundays has achieved a 100 per cent five-star scorecard for customer reviews on TripAdvisor and Google Business Listings, anchoring its position as a valued marine transport and tourism operator in the region.
SeaLink set up operations in the Whitsundays providing guest transfers to Hayman Island’s Intercontinental Hotel before adding a unique premium cruise experience for visitors to the iconic tourism region in November 2021. SeaLink’s Big Island Day Tour, provides its guests with a brillaint cruise through many of the amazing islands that make up the Whitsundays.
General Manager for SeaLink Whitsundays, Mr Rob Mitchell said, "What makes our cruise different is our passenger numbers are capped for maximum comfort with space to roam around each of the three levels to get the best vantage point.”
“Our vessel is also airconditioned for extra comfort and guests enjoy a premium lunch, morning and afternoon tea on board as part of the package.”
SeaLink’s Big Island Day Tour stops off at the world-renouned spots for that famous photo at Hill Inlet overlooking the beautiful turquoise water, as well as stopping for a well-earned dip at the world famous Whitehaven Beach with its white silica sand.
Due to the popularity of the full day tour, SeaLink has also recently added a half day tour experience, Purely Whitehaven, with the choice of a morning or afternoon departure where guests get to spend more time enjoying Whitehaven Beach.
According to Mr Mitchell, achieving the perfect customer experience scorecard from passengers is a testament to the premium service provided by the entire SeaLink Whitsundays’ team.
“It is always great to read such positive feedback from our guests – whether they are locals, interstate or from overseas, and I am extremely proud of the team who consistently go above and beyond to make sure everyone has the best experience.
“The positive comments and ratings further fuel our drive and passion to continue delivering and growing our brilliant customer service and experience offerings.” Mr Mitchell said.
Some passenger comments include:
Paloma9350: Excellent trip, service, food, everything was just fabulous. We highly recommend this trip we had a great time. (February 2022)
Kiklarue1982: WOW does not even begin to explain this tour! The 'Nancy Wake' is an incredible vessel with three levels both indoor and out. I chose to soak up the sun on the second and top decks but there is plenty of air conditioned space inside when the Whitsundays heat gets a little too much. (January 2023)
Denns C: The whole experience from start to finish was impeccable. The entire operation was very professional but with a friendly atmosphere. All staff were very accommodating for our party of six with two young kids and two seniors. (December 2021)
Tourism Whitsundays CEO, Rick Hamilton said that having such highly rated operators ensured The Whitsundays remained a must-see destination.
“The Whitsundays is a world-class destination offering an experience to suit every traveller, from relaxing getaways to action-packed adventures. Online reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations are a big part of travel research, so it’s important to have Whitsundays operators highly rated on platforms such as Tripadvisor and Google,” said Mr Hamilton.
