SeaLink Tasmania is proud to continue as naming sponsor of the 2025 SeaLink Bruny Island Ultra Marathon. The three-year sponsorship underscores SeaLink’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, promoting active lifestyles and showcasing the unique natural beauty of Bruny Island.
More than 800 runners from across Australia and around the world took part in last year’s event, and interest for 2025 has surged even higher. With registrations closing well ahead of the 20 November cut-off, a record 1,250 participants are set to take on the challenge on Saturday, 29 November 2025.
The SeaLink Bruny Island Ultra Marathon offers both a 64 km ultra-marathon and a new 42.2 km marathon distance, with solo and relay team options. The race begins at Dennes Point in the north of the island and finishes at the Cape Bruny Lighthouse (for the ultra) or Bruny Pub Hotel (for the marathon), traversing some of Tasmania’s most scenic and rugged terrain.
