SeaLink goes the distance with Kangaroo Island Run Festival

SeaLink South Australia (SeaLink) is proud to continue its sponsorship of the Kangaroo Island Run Festival, now entering year two of a three-year partnership, as the event returns on 23 August 2026 with an expanded program of race distances and experiences.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Flinders Chase National Park, the Kangaroo Island Run Festival has become one of Australia’s most unique destination running events, attracting participants and supporters from across the country and around the world.

The 2026 event will introduce a new KI50 – 50km Ultra Challenge, adding to the existing marathon, half marathon and 10km distances, and offering runners an even greater opportunity to experience the island’s rugged coastline, native wildlife, and iconic landmarks.

SeaLink will again play a key role in supporting the event, providing the essential ferry travel and logistics, along with discounted ferry travel to help ensure seamless access to Kangaroo Island. In addition, SeaLink also supports the advertising and promotion of the event, helping to build awareness and drive ticket sales.

As part of this year’s event, SeaLink will also host a dedicated water station along the course, supporting runners throughout the race.
