“Sydney Harbour is one of the great attractions of the city in its own right, and summer is the perfect time to get out on the water and experience it.”

SeaLink Sydney General Manager Nick Lester said the extended offers provided even more incentive to make the most of Sydney Harbour over the warmer months.

“Sydney Harbour is one of the great attractions of the city in its own right, and summer is the perfect time to get out on the water and experience it,” Mr Lester said.

“Whether it’s hopping on and off to explore different Harbour destinations, spending a day at Taronga Zoo or simply sitting back and taking in Sydney from the water, these specials give locals and visitors more ways to make the Harbour part of their summer plans.”

Vivid Sydney 2027 – see the city in a whole new light

Available for selected cruises from 28 May to 19 June 2027, the Vivid Sydney specials include:

During Vivid Sydney, participating Captain Cook Cruises vessels become part of the festival experience, illuminated with official Vivid Sydney light installations while cruising past some of the city’s most spectacular illuminated landmarks and precincts.

Mr Lester said experiencing Vivid from the Harbour offered a unique perspective on one of Sydney’s biggest annual events.

“Vivid Sydney completely transforms the city, and there’s something pretty special about seeing it all unfold from the water,” Mr Lester said.

“Guests can take in multiple illuminated precincts as they cruise the Harbour, enjoy a great meal and escape some of the crowds along the foreshore.

“Our vessels also become part of the festival itself through the official Vivid Sydney light installations, so you’re not just seeing Vivid from the Harbour, you’re right in the middle of the experience.”

Captain Cook Cruises has been operating on Sydney Harbour for more than 50 years, offering sightseeing, dining and special-event experiences across one of the world’s most recognisable waterways.
