SeaLink Marine & Tourism is pleased to announce the appointment of Etienne Raubenheimer as the new General Manager for SeaLink Northern Territory.
With a strong presence in the Northern Territory since 2013, SeaLink has provided essential ferry services and tourism experiences that connect communities and showcase the region’s rich natural and cultural heritage. This appointment comes as SeaLink embarks on a new five-year government contract extension for ferry services between Darwin, Mandorah, and the Tiwi Islands.
Mr Raubenheimer brings over 25 years of experience in business management, leading teams across the hospitality, tourism, and transport industries. Born in New Zealand, he began his career managing and owning hospitality venues in Queenstown before transitioning to oversee the region’s alpine bus systems. For 12 years, he ensured seamless transport in one of the country’s most dynamic environments.
His passion for showcasing destinations brought him to Australia, where he led operations for an Outback touring company, introducing travellers to some of Australia’s most remote and awe-inspiring landscapes.
Now calling Darwin home, Mr Raubenheimer has long admired the Northern Territory for its rich culture, diverse wildlife, and breathtaking scenery. With extensive experience in transport operations and a steadfast commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality customer services, he is well-placed to lead SeaLink’s ferry operations between Darwin, Mandorah, and the Tiwi Islands with confidence and care.
