The SeaLink ferry service departs Darwin at 6:00am, with a relaxed 2.5-hour cruise across the Beagle Gulf to Bathurst Island.
On arrival at Wurrumiyanga, step into the heart of Tiwi culture. Choose to spend your morning exploring the Patakijiyali Museum, where you’ll uncover the stories of the Mission days, the Tiwi Creation story, Tiwi involvement in WWII, and their deep love of football. As the final siren sounds and the community celebrations wind down, head back to the ferry for the 4:30pm departure, returning to Darwin by approximately 7:30pm.
