It is easy to add bike hire to your ferry ticket at the time of booking by simply clicking 'Add Optional Extras' after you've selected your travel times. Adult size hire only.
Hire your bikes for pick up on the day when you disembark from the SeaLink ferry for an easy and stress-free Rottnest Island experience. Bikes are equipped with 7 gears, a water bottle holder, and a luggage carrier to ensure a comfortable ride around the island. Your bike hire will include a helmet and lock.
Bicycles must be collected on the island by an Adult 18+. Hirers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18+ at the time of bike hire. Bicycles must be returned to the crew on the return journey. Please read our terms and conditions for bike hire.

SeaLink Rottnest Island offers a free recovery and/or replacement service through the on-island bike hire, Pedal & Flipper, in the unlikely event your bike breaks down. Breakdowns include flat tyres, chain problems, gear problems, etc. Phone Pedal & Flipper: 9292 5105

Can I bring my own bike?
Yes, you can bring your own bike, including e-bikes!
On our booking page, simply select 'yes' when asked: Are you bringing luggage, bikes or sporting items? You can then add your own bikes to your booking for an additional fee.
Please review the size and weight restrictions for bringing your own bike. Please remove batteries from e-bikes before travel. Sorry, we cannot carry tandem or oversized bikes.
