Dunwich
There are plenty of choices for a bite to eat; waterfront dining, club meals, takeaway shops, and cafe/bakeries. You can also grab ingredients for a picnic or platters at the local stores and butcher.
Dunwich (Goompi) is the cultural heart of the island and the arrival point for all visitors to the island.

Located at 5 Junner St, Dunwich QLD 4183, just a short walk from the SeaLink ferry terminal Straddie Brewing Co offers a range of quality craft beers as well as a hand-selected range of fine wines and artisanal spirits. Complimented by their locally sourced menu that caters to tastebuds seeking culture or comfort. From seasonal sharing plates, inspired by native Australian ingredients and the abundant Straddie seafood, to the more traditional family friendly hand-stretched neo-neapolitan pizzas.

Amity Point
Well known for fresh seafood and a relaxed family atmosphere, Amity Point is a great place to dine in or have a picnic in a shady park or on the beach.
Amity Point (Pulan) is located about 16kms (15-minute drive) from Dunwich. Amity’s appeal begins with its relaxing ambience, sandy beaches, shaded shores and easy access to Moreton Bay. There are no surf beaches at Amity, which makes it perfect for fishing, boating and snorkelling.
The large swimming enclosure provides a safe place to swim, and the flat leafy streets are great to walk or ride around to explore. The quiet, laidback ambience of Amity Point makes it a perfect place for picnics, throwing in a line or going for a relaxing swim, and it’s the perfect place to unwind and get back to basics.
The sunsets at Amity Point are incredible so make sure to sit back and watch Mother Nature put on a show.

The Club is licensed, open 7 days a week and facilities include Pokies, Keno and TAB, a children's playground, mini golf and pool tables.
The bistro serves lunch (12pm - 2pm) and dinner (6pm - 8pm) from Wednesday to Sunday.
