Applications for Sponsorship are Now Open! 🌊
SeaLink is proud to support the prosperity and sustainability of our island communities through Community Waves – our sponsorship program for local organisations, events and initiatives.
Community Waves provides in-kind and financial support to groups that make a real impact in our region. If your work fosters community connection, supports health and wellbeing, or protects the environment, we want to hear from you.
How it Works
To ensure our support is fair, transparent and meaningful, sponsorship applications are accepted during two set windows each year.

Supporting our Island Communities
SeaLink South East Queensland has been operating on North Stradbroke Island for over 60 years, and our commitment to the community runs just as deep as our history here. Each year, we provide hundreds of thousands of dollars in in-kind travel to support local clubs, grassroots events, and community organisations that make the island a better place to live, work, and visit.
We’re proud to back organisations like Point Lookout Surf Life Saving Club, Straddie Sharks Allsports Rugby League Club, and Point Lookout Bowls Club, as well as local events such as the Straddie Invitational, Straddie Arts Trail, and Straddie Salute. Our support also extends to vital community groups, including the North Stradbroke Island Aboriginal and Islanders Housing Co-op, Yulu-Burri-Ba, and Stradbroke Early Learning - just to name a few.
We prioritise initiatives that focus on health, education, the environment, and community connection, with a strong emphasis on supporting organisations based on North Stradbroke Island and the Southern Moreton Bay Islands.
