Sealink have combined with the Kangaroo Island Lawn Bowls Association to offer you and your club a wide range of tour options to Kangaroo Island which combine sightseeing and Lawn Bowls games.

Tours can be of any duration that you want and are available 12 months of the year so this can be planned as a midweek trip between pennant games or as a great end of season trip.

Kangaroo Island has 3 beautiful clubs – Kingscote, Birchmore and Parndana with two of them offering all-weather playing surfaces and lights to allow for Night Owls matches as part of your itinerary. Travel can be organised from your club in our luxury air-conditioned coaches which will take you to Kangaroo Island via the SeaLink ferry and then provide all your transfers and touring. Our expert coach drivers will provide touring commentary along the way.

Sealink can organise absolutely everything for your group – accommodation, tours, bowling competitions, transfers and meals, making it very easy for you to sit back, relax and enjoy it all.

Example Itinerary

Day 1:

Pick up from your local Bowls Club and head off to Cape Jervis to catch the SeaLink ferry to Penneshaw. Tour along the way, stopping at a number of the many attractions including one or two of the sensational wineries the island has to offer before checking in to the hotel of your choice. This afternoon you will head off to the Kingscote Lawn Bowls Club for a Twilight game against the locals, followed by dinner at the Bowls Club where you can get to know some of your competitors a little better and discuss the games!

Day 2:

After breakfast you are off on a full day tour of the island. Your days itinerary could include a visit to Seal Bay Conservation Park, Flinders Chase National Park (featuring Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch) with lunch along the way. Before returning to your accommodation it is worth fitting in a visit to the Kelly Hill Caves or the Birds of Prey 'In-Flight' Display at Raptor Domain - there is so much to choose from! Dinner is at your leisure to try out some of the great local eateries!

Day 3:

After a good breakfast and perhaps a beach or esplanade stroll, you are off to the Birchmore Lawn Bowls Club for a few games of bowls. Lunch will be provided at the Club and your coach will pick you up mid afternoon for the trip back to Penneshaw and a late afternoon ferry back to Cape Jervis. You will then be dropped back at your local Bowls Club to finish off a great few days with the commitment to do it again next year!
