SeaLink Kangaroo Island Racing Carnival February 2021
Register your interest for 2021
The SeaLink Kangaroo Island Racing Carnival is a ‘must do’ on the South Australian event calendar and in February 2020 it was marked as the biggest event to take place on Kangaroo Island ever!
Each year the Cygnet River Racecourse comes alive with great country racing from Thursday to Saturday. The Thursday event is a casual affair, with the main race day, the Dudley Wines Kangaroo Island Cup, held on the Saturday. Punters dress up in true racing style and enjoy trackside entertainment, colourful marquees, fashions on the field competitions and an abundance of local Kangaroo Island food and wine. View the Facebook Album from the 2019 event.
Another ‘must-do’ is to join the popular Long Lunch trackside marquee on Cup Day. Enjoy a stunning 2-course menu accompanied by sumptuous grazing tables. A selection of local Dudley Wines and beers are included to wet your whistle. Book early to avoid disappointment, as tickets to this popular lunch sell out quickly!
If you’re heading to the island just for the day, let us do the driving and purchase a KI Cup Package including return coach and ferry transfers from Adelaide and general admission entry. Spoil yourself and upgrade your package to include a ticket into the Long Lunch, too. Race-day packages including coach and ferry transfers are available for Cup Day only.
