Onboard SeaLink's Ferries
SeaLink’s two modern, air-conditioned car and passenger ferries, Sealion 2000 and Spirit of Kangaroo Island take just 45 minutes to cross Backstairs Passage between Cape Jervis and Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Up to 12 ferry departures are offered each day.
Both ferries are twin-hulled catamaran ferries complete with air-conditioned lounges, comfortable lounge or café style seating, a licensed café serving great cappuccinos and fresh snacks, outdoor viewing decks, wheelchair access, disabled toilets and baby change facilities.

Spirit of Kangaroo Island (SPOKI)

On board Cafés offer a selection of cakes, freshly prepared light meals, snacks and ice creams as well as hot and cold drinks.

Please feel free to bring your pram or capsule onboard for the comfort of you and your little one. Our friendly crew will also be happy to warm milk or baby food for you.
Both ferries are also equipped with baby change facilities.
A range of tourist information and brochures are available onboard for your information. There are also a number of large TVs throughout the ferry lounge areas for your enjoyment.
In the warmer weather sit on the top deck and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. Keep look out along side the ferries for dolphins!

SeaLink ferries are wheel chair and disabled friendly. An electric wheel chair can be provided to board passengers as necessary. Please enquire.
