Our Ferries

SeaLink operates two large, fast and comfortable ocean-going catamaran ferries between Cape Jervis on the South Australian mainland and Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. With a short 45 minute crossing, during which you may be lucky enough to spot dolphins, whales (in season), sea eagles and shoals of fish.

Feel the excitement mount as Kangaroo Island comes into view on your 45-minute crossing by SeaLink ferry from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw.  It’s a great way to start to your holiday.

Both ferries feature licensed cafes, airline and café style seating and lounges, TV/video monitors and a dolphin-viewing deck. Services operate an average of four times per day and up to 12 services per day during peak periods.
