All full and valid current Australian, Overseas or International licences (in English or a translation) are accepted and must be produced at time of rental. Learners and Provisional licences are not accepted. All drivers must be a minimum of 21 years old – surcharge applies for 21-24 year olds and are ineligible for the Excess Reduction. SeaLink bookings include Unlimited kms. A security bond/pre-authorisation by means of a credit card will be required at time of vehicle pickup. No cash, cheques or EFTPOS cards are accepted. If a Visa/MasterCard DEBIT Card is used instead of a Credit card it will incur a $400- bond/pre-authorisation at the time of pickup, the bond/pre-authorisation is released back to the cardholder once the car has been checked in at the end of the hire. NOTE: Some banks have reserved the right to hold pre-authorisations (even after Budget has released it) for anywhere up to 30 business days after the completion of the hire.
